Engagement process
A clear path from first call to a closed evidence index — designed for financial analytics review and related fieldwork support.
-
1. Scoping call
We confirm entities, reporting period, frameworks in use, and whether you need analytics, evidence chase, walkthroughs, or close reinforcement. You leave with a draft request list.
-
2. Written outline & fee
A short engagement letter lists deliverables, exclusions, timing, deposit, and named contacts. Work starts after the deposit clears and access to documents is confirmed.
-
3. Document intake
Trial balance, prior statements, bank reconciliations, and major contracts land in a shared folder. Incomplete packs pause the calendar rather than producing thin analytics.
-
4. Analytics & exception shortlist
We run ratio and trend checks, then isolate exceptions that need inquiry. Each exception gets an ID that will later appear in the evidence register.
-
5. Evidence chase & walkthroughs
Owners receive clear asks. Where papers conflict with warehouse or sales practice, we schedule on-site walkthroughs. Status updates go out daily during intensive weeks.
-
6. Memorandum & close-out
You receive a written review memorandum, an evidence index, and a briefing with the finance lead. Open items stay visible — we do not bury unresolved gaps.
